Opportunity for Undocumented Actors to Be in a Short Film! – My Undocumented Life


Ibañez Productions, who made the TV Series, Undocumented Tales, recently announced a casting call to act in a short film. Here is the synopsis of the short film: “Santiago is a Mexican teenager who migrates to the U.S. and an unexpected friendship will make him explore his identity, and force him to make a decision about his future in order to find himself. This is a coming of age queer story that takes place in Los Angeles, CA in 1999.”

The Director is Aramando Ibañez, and the producers are Karla Legaspy and Veronica Paz. “Armando Ibañez is a queer filmmaker from Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Armando is committed to portray authentic Latinx characters and address real issues impacting immigrants and LGBTQ communities in the United States.”

Filming will take place in Los Angeles in December for one day only. If you are interested in auditioning, submit an intro video or questions to [email protected] Include a photo, resume, and reel if you have it.
