Mount Vernon Police Station- 42-year-old Louis C. Allen is facing additional charges after a DNA match linked him to another sexual assault that occurred in February.
On February 2 at 7:05 pm a woman entered her apartment building in the 8300 block of Brockham Drive. She was grabbed from behind by a man and sexually assaulted. The victim was able to fight off the suspect. He left property behind as he ran away. This item was collected as evidence and sent to the Department of Forensic Science (DFS) for DNA testing.
During the last three months of the investigation, a Certificate of Analysis was received from DFS revealing Allen’s DNA was on the evidence collected. Allen is currently being held in Tennessee for sexual exploitation of a minor and aggravated photography of a minor.
Detectives traveled to Tennessee and obtained DNA from Allen. DFS was able to provide a DNA confirmation based on the direct comparison of the DNA collected from Allen and the collected evidence. Detectives obtained warrants for abduction with the intent to defile and object sexual penetration
He will be extradited to Fairfax County for the sexual assault of a juvenile at Lake Accotink Park. The hearing is expected to be in February.
