Haven't seen anyone give this interpretation yet, but from my playthrough today I concluded we're playing as Micheal and he's having some sort of nightmare about what he did to his brother. The records that u need to play to solve the compass puzzle seem to describe his emotions as that event occured. At first he was looking forward happy, then sad, then was looking for help, and then ran away scared. I didn't get jumpscared by freddy, but even his jumpscare is him shoving u into his mouth the way CC was, which would make sense if this is a nightmare he's having, or even if this is something a spirit is forcing upon him. The last record that plays when u solve the puzzle i think is the bullies laughing as they are carrying CC to his death, and at some point u hallucinate the sound of CC dying in the jaws of Fredbear. The plushes that u burn when "disposing of the trash" are the plushed that represent Micheal and the bully that helped him kill his brother. idk what the other trash items mean tho besides ig the party hat I also think the glitched spirit thing has a resemblance to the bully who was wearing Bonnies mask, who was the one that carried CC with Micheal in the cutscene. I also just noticed in editing that the note u pick up changes when the glitch scare happens. It initially warns u to leave and says "I know you think it's your fault, what happened to me" I don't have the best grasp of fnaf lore, but those are the things that I've picked up on. Lmk what yall think
Edit: noticed this morning when looking at someone elses playthrough, that when the game is really bugging out before the reveal happens, the glitched bonnie dude falls onto the floor in kinda the same way u wake up right after. Not entirely sure if that means anything and what that means but ye
you missed the first mechanic with fredbear, when you are looking for the code, he only comes near you and stays outside a certain radius… you can back him into a corner and run, which gives you time. later on he switched to regular mode where he just ends you.

The Pizzeria had pizza, Games and Cakes and insured the equivelant to heaven, quite possibly literally as Clara Afton williamâs wife mysteriously disappeared within the building. And soon after William who after this became more crazed met with Charli and took her life, hiding her behind the building before Puppet an animatronic attraction reached her Charli possessed it becoming Marionette. The building closed down and a new place was opened. âFreddy Fazbearâs Pizzaâ Featuring FOUR characters. âFreddyâ The bear. âBonnieâ The rabbit âChicaâ the chicken and âFoxyâ The pirate fox. Circus baby trapped Mike thinking he was William and scooped his guts out like ice cream before realizing it wasnât and repairing him turning Mike into nothing but a walking corpse. Eventually someone named Jeremy would take the job thinking it would be easier now that Funtime foxy wouldnât need maintenance because kids turned it into a âTake apartput back together amusementâ not knowing that the animatronic was traumatized and would seek revenge. During a night shift Jeremy saw mangle emerging closer and clamped onto his head and causing him to lose his frontal lobe this marking âthe bite of 87â but the place didnât close right then. A security guard named Vanessa was too looking for work and was hired to test mini games and animatronic functions, but William aftonâs consciousness lived in something called âGlitchTrapâ which possessed her brain, trapping her in her own mind for the longest time. Henry opened âThe mega pizzaplexâ featuring âGlam Freddyâ âglam Chicaâ âMontgomery Gatorâ and âRoxanne wolfâ also a glam Bonnie which was mysteriously destroyed in Gator golf. Gregory was able to destroy a piece of the other animatronics to upgrade Freddy taking Montyâs claws, Chicaâs voice box and Roxyâs eyes though for Roxy this would only make her more agressive being able to feel (like the others) emotion and rage wanting her face back. Gregory came face to face with only thing left of williamâs mindless body and a muddled up monstrosity of animatronic parts devoured him allowing Greg to leave the pizzaplex. Though GlitchTrap would not stop there. He created the mimic something that could mimic the voice of children and made it Contact Gregoryâs friend âCassieâ to come to the pizzaplex and âSave himâ Telling her to destroy the security nodes to free him. The security nodes were scattered around the place and one was Roxy which would be the hardest. Deactivating every security node, and avoiding the animatronics she made it closer to deactivating the last one âRoxyâ but Roxy had experienced an error before hand proving without ill intention and asking Cassie sweet things before she deactivated her leaving the animatronic gone. She raced to the end in her grief to save her friend before she became face to face with the mimic, an animatronic created by Edwin Murray creating it to mimic people behaviors and play with his son David. David had passed away and Edwin had abused Mimic in his grief before the diner facilities found the animatronic and it suddenly started killing people. The animatronic which attempted to murder Cassie, nearly did before Roxy came and saved her just in time, likely because of reboot ion of the fax wrench and Cassie escaped. (Thatâs the end of the MAJORITY of the lore CURRENTLY bc we need a new game and/or book to come out before it continues)
So from what my brains puts together with whatâs the heck just happened
At first I thought our protagonist was trapped in a nightmare or memory, but when seeing it to the end this is my conclusion
The protagonist is trapped in a fantasy world created by his younger sibling (The Spring Bonnie) By switching realms you are essentially seeing the world for what it really is, a trap, the Fredbear being an embodiment for the protagonistâs subconscious and self hatred for not saving his younger sibling
The Spring Bonnie in the creepy realm is the protagonists sibling, and from what we see from the end, this whole fantasy dream sequence was a way to trap their older brother with them forever so that they could play together like they used to, him essentially supposed to playing the part of Fredbear from the drawings, meaning if they were to succeed the protagâs soul would have been transferred into Fredbear
The Fredbear however, basically being the protags subconscious and possible regret, saves him to ensure that does not happen, and sends him back to the waking world so that he could live his life in reality rather then in a fantasy
In short, I believe this game is a symbolism of overcoming grief and depression
