Northern VA has always been arrogant and without authentic character and values. I noticed this in the Va. Tech college students in Blacksburg in southwest va back in 1978. The sissies hung around their dozens of high school classmates in a clique, cared more about appearance than substance and totally kissed up to whichever political party their moms n dads worked for in D.C. The people were completely out of step with the personality and values of rural Va here in Appalachia. They seemed like all clones of each other.

Here is a reason to eliminate all Gerrymandering. Not everyone is a Democrat or Republican; what about Independent voters or those from other parties outside the scope of Democrats and Republicans? Gerrymandering specifically for Red or Blue is biased and prejudiced to all those voters who are not Red or Blue. It is representation by fundraising, and whoever has the most money to get airtime and advertising. It is similar to lobbests, using financial influence to steer legislation in a direction that benefits their interests.
I’ve been thinking long and hard about what’s occurring with our modern day government and why so many government officials were so upset with the January 6th protest. There was a founding father, who recommended occasionally rising up to remind the governing parties who the real boss is “We The People” The powers that be were just so disturbed that “The People” rose up on January 6th, they were hiding in fear, they hated feeling small and expendable (which they are) they keep talking down to “The People” like they’re the only ones who know what’s best. It seems government officials no longer serve “The People”… just saying
