You know you should try this test in Europe where people are more used to roundabouts. And compare the results. I believe in North America roundabouts are still a new thing …
Your test is relying totally on the ability of the drivers to negotiate the roundabout efficiency. Also that roundabout is totally restrictive with width
In Spain rondabouts are everywhere, well in all of Europe. Even in small cities likes mine. They're also heavily used in intersections where there's too much accidents and it really works and makes traffic better. It's also true that some people are horrible im rondabouts, but it's still worth it. In big cities we've got rondabouts of multiple lanes.
Too many think they are being courteous by stopping to let someone else go first, that hurts traffic worse, go when its your turn., round abouts are better though, but people need to drive better
Roundabouts are a more logical choice, however its be even more efficient if people knew how to indicate properly when leaving them. If the uk population retook their test i reckon 80% would fail.
No brainer, just go to Europe and study, roundabouts are the far most efficient crossing, especially at rush hour.
and that's with people used to the 4way stop and not the roundabout.

How the heck this is a myth
There should only be roundabout's save a lot of energie. Start now. Now i say. Do it now.
Wait until you get a 5 lane roundabout!
The US doesn't have round abouts?
I hate roundabouts
It was never a myth, just a fact.
Wow, thats a huge improvement, and I guess that was with people not that familiar with roundabouts.
Works in the UK
Come check the Netherlands we have more then just a round a boud

4way stops are designed to be safe when the snow is banked up obscuring vision.
Even more efficient for more than 4 entrances / exits. UK is covered in them.
It is. We have both in thr uk and a roundabout is way better
The only problem with roundabouts is that people can't drive so they don't know how to navigate them properly
Try the magic roundabout in swindon, UK.
That’s assuming the drivers in the round about know how to drive and don’t just treat it like a 4 way stop.
Now if only people knew how to drive
I’m so sick
Of the same generic background music
Wait, you guys don't have roundabouts? lmfao
Also, my brakes have a chance at a roundabout
Yet here in the uk most roundabouts have traffic lights on every entrance some even half way round
Only a myth to yanks
That roundabout was more of a circle. Not a true roundabout.
Round abouts are in Canada now and I think they are fantastic. I really hate when someone in the roundabout stops to let someone in!!!!
It makes it less likely for a broadside.
Roundabouts suck. 4 ways are better
That’s assuming morons have the guts to go the s roundabout…morons stop at them then wait to die.
I hate round about
Not just (obviously, America…) faster, but you need no lights to make the 'circle' work!
Must have been pushed for new idea's at Mythbusters
Trust the British! 🎉
americans believe roundabouts cause tornados
Valparaiso indiana took notes
Roundabouts are great when everyone knows how to fucking use them. UK guys will know.
A 'MYTH' hahaha only in the US ffs
It’s cute watching the fucking yanks grappling with the fact that their way is the worst way.
They just cost 10 times more and take up masses of real estate
Too many think they are being courteous by stopping to let someone else go first, that hurts traffic worse, go when its your turn., round abouts are better though, but people need to drive better
Probably because the red light always lasts like 3 hours ans the green light is about like 5 seconds
I was amazed when I went to Australia they got roundabouts everywhere, And we're getting way more of them here in Canada now too
I’ve driven on roundabouts in Ft. Lauderdale, they exist state side
Music choice is regarded

Like the myth that the metric system is far more effective tool for measuring?
