  1. Thanks everyone for stopping by, this is one of my favorite arcs of the story so I’m glad to throw it up on YouTube! Once again if you’d like to resume with the VODs on the 2nd channel this video takes place between VODs #10 to #12 so you can resume with 13!

  2. What I wouldn't do for some more Arma type shit. This though, is good. PS, you do not know me, my name is not familiar any and all similarities to individuals presented on or in other forms are sheer coincidence

  3. Some Important context for non VOD watchers, that final evacuation from Baldur after finding the Skull was the stuff of legends. A mad dash for everyone involved through an endless wave of terrors. No tactics or room clearing, just outrunning the horrors. Made especially tense by the fact that Carlos, who laughs in the face of death and played by Bean, stated that if he ever died in an expedition it would be a "canon death" and Bean would make a whole new character.

Considering he is a Dunekin, the squishiest faction who at this point also had the least amount of armor on the server, it was a herculean task. Jasper/Jay, Lolipogi/Lou, and a few other actually fell behind the main retreating group trying to keep Carlos alive. Just them against the hordes. The part we saw was the very end. Carlos got downed and nobody noticed until they were out of the facility and saw the chat message, leading to a literal last second rez from Lou and Jasper going back in for him in peak cinema fashion. You saw his revival and subsequent laughter in the face of death.

The main reason a good portion of this was probably cut from the video is ironically because of Carlos/Bean as well. During the mad dash evac, he decided to raise everyone's spirits by singing an ancient Dunekin hymn passed down through the generations to keep them going. He even got everyone to sing along with him. That hymn of course being Livin' La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin. Definitely go and watch the VOD to see the madness.

All this to say, Lolip and Jay are right. Carlos makes every gathering better. Big ups to Bean.

  4. I didn't expect it so soon, or was it the time that passed so quickly. Yet I am very glad for the next released video of one of my favourite seriest and youtuber. Hearing you guys make me feel warm, like being part of the group of friends I deeply lack. Thank you Rubix for your work and for the video I so much love.

  5. A great video of your, and your friend's excursions Jay, I wish upon the most relaxing and noble of rest one could possibly acquire on our beautifully magnificent blue marble. If you could find it a possibility, I would like to see what came of the MENACE Arma 3 Operation, from your perspective. It is a great game, and such an Operation intrigues me greatly.

  6. Listening to all of this at work and going “wow this sounds really cool” and then hearing the word Carcosa in a note had me fucking reeling. Whole world’s a wash gang, abandon all hope. Let it burn.

  7. I like how you just casually go back to the place that took an entire team to get trough the first time, with just 2 people and less armour. A place you actively despise, just to go back and honour a fallen knights last request, not to mention the perfect timing, when most would have just left it. + Respect

  8. The fallen knight subplots are so emotionally effective because they're so closely tied to the players' experience. These are the predecessors of the player Solar Knights, not some random NPC faction you feel obliged to help for a reward. Kudos to the planners and writers
