Looks good. Try using a thinner sponge with a plastic middle liner promise that you will use less coating. The big thicker sponge soaks way too much coating.
So paint correction is just buffing??
Detailer was a beginner probably didn’t mean to scam know your limits I only did interiors and exteriors for 2 years before I learned hot to polish

it was an enhancement and ceramic coat for 500 and ask guy how long has he washed his truck the swirls will still show after a year of washes

The prep, wash, taping, polishing, and coating, when done properly, should be $1,250 minimum.
Plus, anyone “coating” vehicles outside and not in a shop, they’re all scam artists.
