EVERY SINGLE PERSON that I've taken for a ride in the Tesla has grabbed the emergency release thinking its the normal door release. No one expects the button is the primary way to open, apparently it's counterintuitive.
On the 2025 model Y’s they fixed the back door problem with a clip switch instead of the old method which makes it easier to escape in case of an emergency
