Just picked up a tortoise today because it was walking away from the lake in the middle of the road headed towards the highway a few yards away and it released all its stored water on me while in work clothes end of the story tortoise are nice until their afraid so be aware of that (and I don’t regret helping that tortoise whatsoever id do it 100000x over)
A lot of keeping a snapper happy is just handling it right. Keep its body supported, and even a wild one might choose not to bite
