weird story. ive been in 3 semis just to see the insides. there was a dude who was 5'6 maximum… somehow he sat up heigher and closer to the wheel and pedals than me and im 6'3.. still confused on how that worked at all when we sat the exact same. still feel like the universe if messing with me
Yeah I'd never drive a cab over, I don't want to be in the crumple zone and there's a big ass engine between me and whatever I'd hit if something goes wrong in a conventional truck
Cabovers barely survive in Australia. American Lorrieβs dominate, mostly because these fancy, high-tech electronic devices cannot survive anything besides a hyper-smooth tarmac freeway. American trucks will run on a few sticks and can be fixed by using a hammer. Good when youβre 2000 km from the nearest human
Guys like him who act like making something easier on you makes you weak are the worst kind of bosses to have. If you don't do it the same way they did in the 70's your stupid.
ima trucker in the uk, we do have engine breaking and it comes on with the retarder, when the retarder is on it will drop a gear (aka engine breaking) and when you press the service break with the retarder on it will drop another gear if needed.
our trucks are safer and more efficient than usa trucks and we can weigh 4 more ton than a us truck.
Cab overs have their place in smaller countries with short hauls, but in America a cab over is just not going to give you the space and room required to live like truckers do in America. Plus cab overs are very difficult to work on and maintain on the side of a highway.
The comments are full with people for some reason trying to sell other people on cabovers. Why would they be doing that? The old european inferiority complex must be hitting again
James 1:17, come to the Lord and He will give u rest. He loves u so much!

"I had my cabover share when i was younger" so was that before or after the civil war?

In the EU we only use cabovers. roads are to tight to drive the bigger trucks
People out here arguing which truck is better to go broke in while Sanjay Deeng Lebari eats your wages. Lmao.
