What We Know About the Songs of the Past Expansion for The Witcher 3
Songs of the Past is the third major expansion CD Projekt Red has blessed us with for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will be coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in 2027, so Nintendo players will sadly have to sit this one out.
CD Projekt Red is co-developing the expansion with Fool’s Theory, a collaborative group of experienced developers that contributed to projects like The Thaumaturge, Baldur’s Gate 3, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, and The Witcher Remake. Two key members of the Fool’s Theory staff, Karolina Kuzia-Rokosz and Jakub Rokosz, had previously worked with CD Projekt Red on The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3, so we can rest assured that the project is in safe hands.
When Will The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Release?
At this stage, there is no indication of exactly when we can expect Songs of the Past to release in 2027, but this announcement is certainly enough to tide us over until more information is released late this summer.
