  1. Did we forget one of your favorite covers? Let us know in the comments below.
Check out our featured song: "Overdue" by The Quadroholics! https://youtu.be/NRnR99Z4P34

  2. Most people have never even heard Lori's version of Killing Me Softly prior to the internet uncovering the Charles Fox & Norman Gimbel cover up of the song's origins. Lori's version is actually really good despite the poor 1970's production, and it holds up pretty well to Flack's and The Fugee's version. Maybe not better per say, but still a respectable showing by Lori.

  3. Sound should be much higher. Know you all don't understand hard rock and metal but it should be in the top five.also enough of the garbage music at the beginning of the video.

  4. Why is Joe Cocker not up there for Little Help from my Friends?

  5. Still to this day, the Toadies cover of "Since U been gone" is so awesome. it reminds me of AAF's smooth criminal as a genre bending cover. same with Local H's covers of both "Brandy, You're a fine Girl" and "Toxic," both are amazing as well.

  6. How the hell are you gonna rip off George Harrison's marriage AND Bob Marley's acumen? You gotta have a real need! Eric Clapton shows his TRUE colors! What an a-hole! Never liked him, and I can't respect his ethics (if any)! Acts like an adolescent fool for the money (at ALL COSTS:!) WHAT A FREAKIN' JERK! "I shot the Clapton, but I did not shoot his reputation. HE did that himself"!

  7. All Along the Watchtower IS #1(IMHO)! Yet a FINE list,😅 none the less! Thank you for correcting me on Eric Clapton. I just don't like the dude. Despite his "apparent"guitar genius, Clapton is an unworthy evil: to steal everything: Harrisonn's wife, other artist's genius! What a dork! I KNEW I hated him for good gut feelings! Thank you!

  8. Don't like the Disturbed cover of Sound of Silence. Heard someone else sang it and it was much better

  9. Sound of Silence by Disturbed is on my playlis, fuck me it's awesome

  10. Personally, I'm a little upset that "Life is a Highway" is not on here. It's an incredible cover.

  11. I HATE Tina Turner's version of Proud Mary. She destroyed a great song.

  12. Kris Kristofferson's "Me and Bobby McGee" by Janis Joplin, originally sung by Rodger Miller.

  13. I personally prefer John Lennon’s cover of Stand By Me. Another notable one is House Of The Rising Sun by The Animals. And if we have room for another Bob Dylan song being covered, Adele’s version of To Make You Feel My Love.

  14. Some great covers in this list … and a couple of questionable ones! But no space for Eva Cassidy, one of the greatest re-interpreters of classic songs ever? Check out 'Who knows where the time goes?', 'Kathy's Song' or 'Fields of Gold' (and I'm deliberately leaving out the most obvious example!), originals you'd think shouldn't be touched, and yet … And yet again, John Cale overlooked as the actual re-interpreter of 'Hallelujah!', without which the Jeff Buckley version wouldn't exist.

  15. You should hear the cover of hallelujah by the dooo

  16. Surprised Ace of Bases cover of Tina Turners Don't Turn Around didn't make the list.
The story behind that goes that Ace of Base for their breakthrough in a America made a cover of a song by the English reggae band Aswad and didn't know Aswads' song was a cover. Aswads' in turn didn't know that their cover of a Luther Ingrams song was in fact also a cover of Tina Turners song.

  17. would of been good if you showed the originals also

  18. My favorite cover of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door " was by Aussie Metal band Heaven and the best cover of "Hallelujah " had to be the version by John Cale that was played in Shrek. I heard that version on Cale's live album "Fragments Of A Rainy Season ".

  19. Wait… no Without You by Mariah. Unsubscribing.

  20. For the win,, Satisfaction Devo

  21. John Farnhams cover of The Beatles 'Help'. John Lennon heard it and said that it was supposed to be sung that way, as a ballad, and not a fast pop number that the studio insisted they record it

  22. These are all so great but Disturbed's Sound of Silence is epic.

  23. You should check out Etta James covering the Eagles Take it to the Limit.

  24. I miss cover by Faith No More – Easy

  25. I’ll be missing you as a cover of every breath you take deserves a place on this list

  26. Two covers should have made this list. Both introduced the world to both bands: Shinedown-“Simple Man” and Five Finger Death Punch- “Bad Company”

  27. Chris Cornell's version of Nothing Compares is even better

  28. I’m surprised Adele didn’t make
    The list

  29. wow 1 minute commercial really?

  30. War pigs by faith no more and planet caravan by Pantera

  31. Should have played a sample from each of the originals before the covers

  32. Guns n roses’ Live and Let Die and Since i don’t have you are also great.

  33. Shameless. Garth. What's wrong with y'all?

  34. Land of Confusion original Genesis cover by Disturbed

  35. Linkin Park covering Adele’s Rolling In The Deep. Better than the original.

  36. That cover of Smooth Criminal has always been pure trash. Marilyn Manson's cover of Sweet Dreams is a top 10 cover song.

  37. Eric Clapton's cover of "I Shot the Sheriff" is an abomination!

  38. Eric Clapton's cover of "I Shot the Sheriff" is an abomination!

  39. Pink did an excellent rendition of White Rabbit, among my top covers. Also, Cheap Trick's cover of Fats Dominoes Ain't that a Shame should have made this list.
