She revealed how Justin cheated on her multiple times, which she kept to herself, while he want very public about her one time infidelity (which was only kissing). He (along with their managers) also talked her into having an abortion, even though she wanted to keep the child (which is what the track Everytime is actually about). He blamed her for the relationship's failure, and the media sympathized with him and villainized Britney Spears. She still didn't talk badly about him back then. Now, 20 years later, the truth has come out.

Loved Alanis' 'You oughta know' after my 25 yr. marriage broke up because I found out my ex was cheating from some 'friends'. Blasted the volume on that while singing my heart out. It was so cathartic for me at the time, the rage and hurt I felt.
