It’s no disrespect to Madonna but she wanted people to know that the song was for her friend. MTV News even ran part of a Björk interview with her saying this during Madonna’s Bedtime Story Pajama Party where Kurt Loder would world premiere the $5,000,000 music video.

Bjork has no peers. While Radiohead was doing stuff like Iron Lung she was years ahead with Post. It’s insane.
i think Volta is her best – though a few others are in close contention.
