I wanna know what’s being qualified as “punk” from 2009 to 2019. Is this globally or in the US? And are we talking The Ramones, or Green Day? Because the Green Day types for some reason get classified as punk when they’re post-punk at best and more properly thought of as pop rock, or alternative rock. There’s no way real punk music was this popular in 2009 through 2019. I was alive and well, I don’t remember hearing Black Flag or The Ramones a lot on the radio, I had to specifically go looking for it 😂 — if we’re talking maybe some kind of German punk music or something and maybe it’s popular in Europe, or UK maybe having some punk scene or something, idk, I might believe that. But if we’re talking about pop rock in the US and it’s stuff like Green Day, that really needs to be classified correctly. That is not really punk.
Took me a hot second to realize that by “chanson” you’re not talking about pre-20th century troubadour music, but rather basically French pop music of the 50s and 60s. Cool beans 👍
In short you’ve got a Decade to Funk things up beyond that….every 10 years music changes….Soon Shazam will be predicting what’s next on the Dance scene based on these trends🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yeah there's no way this is right lol. Or the genres are so misnamed that a lot of it is sorta meaningless. Techno was 2nd most popular genre in 2018? And "techno-pop" was 10th most popular? What does techno even mean here?

I love the 1920's(1920-1929) music ❤
Techno is all music made with computer. It's not a subgenre.
It's been downhill for some time. Rap/hiphop and RNB are not actually music. Thank god i grew up when heavy metal was mainstream.
In short you’ve got a Decade to Funk things up beyond that….every 10 years music changes….Soon Shazam will be predicting what’s next on the Dance scene based on these trends🤔🤔🤔🤔
Bebop for me
No Blues???
I like synth pop and rock only.

What the heck is "classic rock" in 1962?
Heavy Metal should have been it's own category, not just Rock N' Roll or Hard Rock
I don't consider house to be music. It is an assassination against humanity.
Fan of electronic genres : techno / eurodance / house / electro
I love these videos
Hip/Hop 🤡🤡🤡
cool
Thanks for the Information, pleas a Update for the 1970s to the 2020s
Listen to lots of music – House and Chanson on new ones on me I'll have to look up.
Pop?😮
2012 without pop??? Wtf?
Why was rap not split off as a sub-genre of hip-hop? They split everything else into pieces…
Not sure i even know what "house" music is…
Hopefully Hip Hop declines
