Samsung has opened the One UI 8 Beta Program. The wait for the Android 16-based One UI version finally reaches an end. The company is bringing the most anticipated version to its flagship devices, and has also confirmed some interesting details.

According to the official information, Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta Program is live for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series models. It is currently open in South Korea.

The company may initiate the One UI 8 beta’s broader release to at least five countries: the UK, Germany, the US, Poland, and India in the coming hours or days.

Eligible Devices

Currently, the tech giant has opened the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for three flagship smartphones. These are:

  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, the One UI 8 beta program will soon be available to test on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 foldable smartphones.

Speaking of the Android 16 plan for other models, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7 will be the first devices to come with pre-installed One UI 8. These handsets will probably launch in July with amazing capabilities.

Hereafter, the company will begin expanding the Android 16-based One UI 8 upgrade to older eligible devices later this year.
