About HIALSA
HIALSA provides a community within Harvard Law School for all students interested in international arbitration.
We aim to to promote the study of arbitration at HLS, to offer a forum for students to discuss emerging topics in arbitration, and to create connections between students and arbitration practitioners.
About the Call for Papers
We are thrilled to announce the renewed collaboration between the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) and the Harvard International Law Journal (HILJ) to support high-quality scholarship in international commercial and investment arbitration.
We invite practitioners and scholars worldwide to submit original pieces that bring fresh perspectives, critical analysis, and clarity to the field. Contributions may take the form of brief academic commentaries, decision analyses, or regional and country highlights.
The top two submissions will be published in the HIALSA Arbitration Review (3rd edition, 2026) and in the Harvard International Law Journal Online (International Arbitration section).
