About the First Annual Edition VIL Conference
Vydehi Institute of Law is pleased to announce the call for papers for the First Annual Edition VIL Conference on “Exploring the Evolving Dynamics of Protecting Women and Child Rights in the Modernized World ”, 2025.
The Conference is scheduled on 28th May, 2025 via Hybrid mode. We invite individuals from diverse backgrounds — Students, Academicians, Legal Practitioners, Researchers, and enthusiasts passionate about these domains.
Theme
In the modern world, women and child law remains crucial as it directly addresses the evolving challenges faced by vulnerable populations. As Society progresses, the legal systems must adapt to protect the rights of women and children against gender-based violence, exploitation, and discrimination. Women’s rights to equality, access to healthcare, education, and protection against domestic violence are central to ensuring social justice and empowerment.
The relevance of these laws is heightened by global issues such as migration, digital violence, and climate change, all of which disproportionately affects women and children. As such, women and child law must continue to evolve, ensuring not only the protection of their rights but also their active participation in the dignified society by shaping the laws that govern their lives.
