About ICSSR

The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is the apex body of the Government of India for research in the social and human sciences. Founded in 1969, ICSSR operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. ICSSR plays a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and understanding of various social issues and challenges, and providing research-based solutions to policymakers and stakeholders in the development of the nation through various initiatives and schemes.

Submission Procedure

• All submissions should be sent with a cover letter indicating the name of the author, designation and e-mail address.
• There should be an abstract which should encompass the structure, rationale and scope of the paper with 5 key words (not less than 250 words).
• After submission through the journal website, the details like name of the author, designation, e-mail ID, mobile number and the title of the paper may be sent to the e-mail ID: [email protected]

Word Limit & Format

• Minimum word limit: 4000
• Maximum word limit: 8000 words.
• Font: Times New Roman
• Font size: headings – 14; Body- 12
• Line Spacing: 1.5
• Margin: Left – 1.5; Right – 1; Top – 1; Bottom – 1
• Footnote: Times New Roman with Font size 10
• Subheadings: Times New Roman – 12, Left Aligned
• Footnotes should be in APA (7th ed.) citation format.

Submission Guidelines

• Co-authorship of a maximum of two is allowed.
• The article must contain a minimum of 4000 words and should not exceed 8000 words.
• The organising committee reserves the right to reject/ accept papers based on the guidelines prescribed herein.
