5. Granola bar box cabinet

5. Granola bar box cabinet

I spent Sunday morning converting a granola bar box into a birchwood cabinet for a playscale dollhouse. It coordinates with 2 other pieces of cardboard birch bark furniture I made for my Christmas cabin diorama last year. Still planning on making a coordinating bed someday.

I was not intending to make this first, but when my son was about to recycle this box, I realized it was the perfect size for a Barbie armoire and had to see it to fruition. 🙂

Made from a granola bar box, packing tape, paper, glue (tacky and stick), mat board, corrugated cardboard for top, brown paint, leftover wooden dollhouse siding pieces for the base, and paper birch sticks I collected on vacation 2 summers ago for the drawer pulls.
