This necklace is certainly attention-getting: it consists of a gorgeous aqua/blue mother-of-pearl disc encased in chainmail (no glue holding it in — just jump rings!), then surrounded by concentric circles of aqua crystals and sky-blue freshwater pearls, then ropes of chain. The beads are all wrapped with tarnish-resistant copper craft wire, which makes a nice contrast to the yellow gold chain.
I finished it off with a trio of Mother-of-Pearl marquise-shaped beads dangling below. The central part is about 5.75" long and 3.5" wide, while the piece as a whole measures about 16" long and is finished with a handmade shepherd’s hook clasp. I’m happy to adjust the length as needed.
