BBNaija reality star Queen Mercy Atang has shared a frightening experience after the POP ceiling in her sitting room collapsed just moments after people narrowly escaped the area.

According to her Instagram post, Queen Mercy returned home around 4am after an all-night shoot for her friend’s Guinness World Record project. While she went to rest, her younger sister and nanny stayed awake sewing. She revealed that they usually sleep in the sitting room after sewing, but for reasons she described as divine intervention, they did not lie down there this time.

By morning, the POP ceiling in the sitting room suddenly gave way while they were still awake, forcing them to run for their lives. Queen Mercy said her heart dropped when she was informed, but she felt immediate relief after confirming that her sister and nanny were safe upstairs.

She also disclosed that this was the second incident in weeks, following an earlier POP collapse in her garage.
