I love easy summer desserts that are still delicious….
I served this up to a crowd and it was a big hit !!
Ingredients
For the Brownies..Mix together ,
· 1 pkg Devils Food cake mix (dry)
· 1 can cherry pie fruit filling
· 1 tsp almond extract
· 2 eggs, beaten
Spread batter into a greased and floured 15×10 inch jelly roll pan and bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees or until a tooth pick inserted into the middle comes out with a light crumb.
While the cake is cooling make the frosting…..
Frosting
· 2 c. sugar
· 8 Tbsp butter
· 1/2 c. milk
· 1 1/4 c. chocolate chips
Instructions
Boil sugar, butter and milk for 1 minute then add chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted. Spread on slightly warm bars.
