We know that percentage represents parts per hundred. So,
any number written as percent is a fraction with 100 as its denominator. We
write the number as the numerator of a fraction and 100 in the denominator. The
symbol % is not written in the fraction form. So, 75% is written as \(\frac{75}{100}\)
= 0.75.
