On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing ‘Moment portal’, and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being rolled out to the general public in December. (ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015)

This photograph of a female Southern Bald Eagle was taken at 13:12pm on Tuesday 24th May 2016 near Duncan in British Columbia, Canada.
The Southern Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus Leucocephalus), derives it’s name from the Greek for ‘Sea eagle’, and the ‘bald’ denotation actually derives from an older meaning of ‘white headed’.Bald Eagles can be up to forty inches in length with a wingspan up to seven and a half feet and can wigh up to 6.3kgs. The females are generally Twenty five per cent larger than the males.
