1. Divide 25.6 by 4.

Solution:

Step I: Divide as usual without considering the decimal point. (256/4 = 64)

Step II: Count the number of decimal places in the dividend. Here, it is 1.

Step III: Insert the decimal point after 1 digit from the right in the quotient.

            64 6.4
