Introducing: Hublot Wraps Up The 20th Anniversary Of The Big Bang With The Meca-10 Street Art Editions

The big night for the brand was unapologetically Miami core, set in the Basement at the Miami Beach EDITION hotel, we’re talking neon-lit everything, a performance by 50 Cent of his greatest hits, and the ultimate quest by partygoers to figure out who in that room was famous. At the center of it all was a set of perhaps the loudest Hublot designs I’ve ever seen, the Big Bang Meca-10 Street Art editions.

A collection of four different colorways of the 44mm by 15.3mm Meca-10-powered Big Bang models that I can only describe as “Paintball Pollock” vibes, Hublot takes its in-house manually wound caliber and encases it in composite concrete cases painted by hand in splattered, UV-reactive paint. The “Magic City” in purple and green that reminds me of everyone’s favorite dinosaur, “Vice” goes all hot pink with a splash of blue, the “Big Water” comes in bright blue with greys thrown in, and my favorite of the four is probably the yellow, orange, and green “Sunshine” edition with subtle (if you can even use that word here) bits of pink.
