The Cima della Laurasca (2195m) is in Piemonte, to the west of Lago Maggiore, in the Val Grande National Park. It is a superb viewpoint for the Alps from Monte Rosa in the west all the way around to the east. The Plain of the Po stretches away into the distance on the right of the photo. A good place to be, bright and early on a sunny June morning, with the mist rising above Lago Maggiore.
