For my light yellow skin tone second shade called fair was a good pick. As it starts from medium coverage, it is very light weight and no doubt blur the pores at some extent. I love its feel on my skin. For everyday i like it to apply it sheer which blur imperfections and gives beautiful natural finish. Occasionally i build it further more glamorous look.
It is easy to apply and spread. I dot it on the face and spread it with fingers. To get flawless application i further spread it with sponge and merge into the skin. The consistency is slightly thick and you need very little amount to start with. Still being heavy after application it feels light and doesn’t suffocate the skin. You also get good time to spread and apply it on the face without drying quickly.
Once you buff it in the skin, it gives matte finish. If you have very oily skin, you can top it with powder and it will last very long throughout the day. It doesn’t give top blurring effect if you have large pores or texture on skin but still does a little. With more layers it doesn’t look cakey and still feels very light.
I have dry skin and in summers i need light foundation which is not oily and gives bit of matte finish which this foundation is perfectly able to do. For oily skin, you need to powder on top and it can be very good option in fall or winter.
