About: Adventure by Air: Discovery, Exploration and Innovation through Flight.
This was an opportunity for our elementary school students to learn more about flight and the science, technology and exploration behind it. Art docents created lesson plans for their class based on grade level and ability. Class projects varied in theme: Local birds – PreK, Rescue planes – TK, K, Types of Flight Propulsion – 1st grade, First Manned Landing on the Moon – 5th grade. Students will have a field trip to the Hiller Aviation Museum to see their artwork on display.
