Silent, but stoic

Winston Churchill said, "When the eagles are silent, the parrots begin to jabber". Churchill was saying when leaders, those in power (the eagle) are quiet, the masses, the ordinary folk (parrots) start talking.

Sorry Winnie, I’m ordinary but I’m not sure I would jabber in front of, or within earshot of this magnificent and dignified specimen.

The photo is not that sharp a capture of this nobel bird of prey but I like it all the same. There is something stately, something majestic about this bird’s look, his glance which makes one, at least me, look twice.
