Donkey Kong Bananza’s digital edition is discounted to $59.49 (was $70) at Amazon until December 12 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. You can also get a nice deal on a bundle with the game and the Emerald Rush DLC that drops the price from $90 to $76.49. Both deals are late additions to Amazon’s 24-hour Game Awards Sale. Donkey Kong Bananza was nominated for Game of the Year and won the award for Best Family Game.
Developed by the Super Mario Odyssey team, Donkey Kong Bananza earned fantastic reviews when it launched in July, including a 9/10 from GameSpot. It currently holds a 91 Metascore on review aggregator Metacritic (a GameSpot sister site). The Emerald Rush DLC released in September for $20, so the bundle deal effectively drops the price to $6.50 for new players–but only if you buy the bundle.

There are a few other Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch game deals in The Game Awards Sale. Two of Square Enix’s biggest releases in the back half of 2025 are discounted. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, which has a free Switch 2 upgrade, is on sale for $40 (was $50) for Switch.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is discounted to $50 (was $60) for Switch and Switch 2. All of the deals in the list below are for physical editions with the exception of DK Bananza and Split Fiction, which comes with a code in the box. Final Fantasy Tactics and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds include free double-sided posters exclusively at Amazon.
