Xiaomi HyperOS 3 leaked images reveal redesigned UI elements

Xiaomi has reportedly leaked select HyperOS 3.0 UI elements. The Chinese tech giant has been conducting a user survey where it accidentally revealed some key changes coming with the next major software upgrade, hinting at its imminent launch.

Spotted by XiaomiTime, the company has leaked the HyperOS 3 UI, which shows a redesigned avatar. Looks like the phone maker has taken some inspiration from iOS 26 this time, and molded its software into an Apple-like upgrade.

Inputs reveal that Xiaomi has transformed the app icons completely in the HyperOS 3.0. They appear more like the icons in iOS 18, with a unified and sophisticated design.

On the other hand, Xiaomi has removed the search bar from the home screen. This simple change offers a clutter-free and cleaner look on the screen. It now highlights the app icons and widgets more clearly than ever before.

Another significant change is the battery indicator. Xiaomi will use an iPhone-like battery indicator this time. It has a more round shape and clear fonts, showing the battery percentage.

HyperOS 3.0 UI also features Glass UI-inspired effects. Glass UI, or Liquid Glass design language in iOS 26, is a fluid, translucent UI that uses layered motion, blur, and light effects that offer a sense of depth to the screen.

While HyperOS 3.0 doesn’t make the screen completely blur (well-known issue in iOS 16 – Know More), it offers a minimalistic look. It would be worth seeing what the official version will bring to the table for Xiaomi device users.
