Almond Ghraybeh – Melts in Your Mouth

A simple recipe with a luxurious taste, just like bakery-made 💛

✨ Ingredients:

2 cups sifted flour

1 cup melted clarified butter (not hot)

½ cup powdered sugar

A pinch of vanilla

A small pinch of salt

Whole almonds for topping (or pistachios/peanuts)

🔥 Instructions:

1️⃣ Mix the butter with powdered sugar very well until creamy and light.

2️⃣ Add vanilla and a pinch of salt, stir to combine.

3️⃣ Gradually add the flour and knead gently — the dough should be soft and crumbly, not dry.

4️⃣ Shape the dough into small balls, and press an almond (or your favorite nut) into the center.

🧁 Baking:

Preheat the oven to 160°C (low temperature).

Place the cookies on a parchment-lined tray.

Bake for 10–12 minutes only — they should stay pale, not brown.

Cool completely before moving to avoid breaking.
