Honor 400 series to bring Google’s AI Image to Video feature
Honor 400 series could be the first lineup to use Google-powered AI image-to-video feature. The new capability is coming to Chinese phone users even before Gemini customers. It can simply turn your cute pictures into some funny clips.
The company today dropped another Honor 400 series teaser on its global page, introducing the AI Image to Video feature. As per the details, the new addition will enable users to quickly convert their snaps into a live video, adding life to the image.
Looking into the teaser, the video shows how every image in the book and on the phone starts animating. Defining the feature, Honor wrote a caption that says:
“Beyond a snapshot.
HONOR 400 series can effortlessly transform your images into captivating videos with AI Image to Video – breathing new life into your stills. Spark Daily Wonder with HONOR 400 Series – coming 22nd May, 2025.”
AI Image to Video feature relies on the Google Veo 2 model. The technology generates a 5-second efficient video based on the available or selected static images.

The feature takes a minute or two to create the video, irrespective of the picture mode – portrait or landscape. Users can find this feature in the Gallery app on new Honor 400 phones. But you can’t instruct the tool for a customized video.
Inputs further reveal that Honor 400 smartphone users will be able to use the new AI tool for free for the first two months. During this period, one can make ten videos per day. The feature will probably require a subscription for unlimited usage.
Honor will unveil the new-gen digital smartphone series on May 22. By that time, the company may release some more interesting teasers revealing the goodness of the Honor 400 series.
