Honor Magic 8 Mini leak spotlights colors and chip details

Honor Magic 8 Series has impressed consumers with its subtle design and startling colors and it seems the Mini variant will also grab attention for its soft + elegant shades. As the device is nearing its launch, more details are emerging on the surface.

DigitalChatStation is back with some interesting insights about the Honor Magic 8 Mini, such as colors, chip, screen technology, imaging features, design, and more.

Starting with the codename, the tipster said that the Honor Magic 8 Mini is codenamed Lindy. It will debut in four bashful yet delicate colors on the home ground:

• Feather White
• Shadow Black
• Light Orange
• Fairy Purple

The Fairy Purple and Light Orange shades are seemingly different from the Magic 8/Pro colorways. These options will focus on youth with a touch of fashion. It’s unclear, though, if these shades will debut with a distinct pattern or plain glass back.

Further, the Magic 8 Mini will feature a smaller screen over its siblings – a 6.3-inch flat display. This screen tech will have a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor to provide easier-to-use and stronger security aspects for users.

Moving ahead, the smartphone could equip the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 3nm chip. It has an all-big-core CPU (One large core x C1-Ultra @ 4.21GHz + three medium C1-Premium cores @ 3.5GHz + four small C1-Pro cores @ 2.7GHz).

The Magic 8 Mini Edition will likely have a metal middle frame to offer a smooth and slim profile. This particular addition will also enhance the grip capability and enable users to hold the device for long hours without any discomfort.

Apart from colors and these details, the tipster didn’t mention any other information about the Magic 8 Mini phone, such as launch timeline or internal features. But he said that the product is ready and accelerating for its release.

Hence, we can expect to witness the mini flagship in the first quarter of 2026. Though an official confirmation awaits this matter.
