Honor X70 smartphone leak suggests that the device will use a new OLED screen instead of an LCD panel. The budget-friendly handset will offer amazing visuals and some flagship-level specifications to enhance the user experience.
As noted by DigitalChatStation, Honor will launch the X70 handset with a new OLED screen solution rather than an old LCD. He adds that the device will feature a 6.79-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution for better visual effects.
OLED can deliver a superior viewing experience compared to LCD panels. Also known as Organic Light Emitting Diode, OLED can produce deeper blacks, higher contrast ratios, and more vibrant colors. At the same time, it is thinner and lighter.
Each pixel in an OLED screen can emit its own light, reflecting true blacks (dark when the screen is off). Meanwhile, LCD relies on a backlight to light up the entire screen.
Previous leaks suggested that the Honor X70 will use the same old LCD screen as its predecessor. Although the latest input hints at a better screen solution for the device.

The tipster further states that the Honor X70 smartphone will pack a large battery with a capacity of 7000mAh or more. Saying goodbye to LCD, the blogger adds that LCD fans can look forward to high-performance tablets in the future.
The same tipster earlier said that the Honor X70 smartphone can bring a new chipset to deliver better performance on board. Even though the chip details are currently unclear, we can expect to see an enhanced mid-range processor for the phone.
Camera and charging details are under the hood at present. Though we’ll grab these revelations in the coming days. Stay tuned.
