Huawei has tweaked the Live View function with some more features for its smartphones. The company has added support for some more apps, such as Taobao and NetEase. Users will be able to access these apps without even opening them directly.
Just like Dynamic Island, Live View lets you see the real-time activities of a particular app. The capsule-like tab on the status bar will let you control these activities accordingly, without even going through the app via home screen or app drawer.
Till now, the feature has been used to support instant delivery apps for food, medicine, flight booking, high-speed rail, or taxi hailing, riding details, and more.
One can even check the status of calls, map navigation, music, calculator, reminder, timing, match score, and whatnot! And now, Huawei has added support for two more apps to bring more Live View features to its smartphones.
These apps are Taobao Flash Sale and NetEase Cloud Music. The former is an e-commerce platform that functions as a C2C (customer-to-customer), similar to eBay. It belongs to the Alibaba family and contains various functions for shopping.
Meanwhile, the NetEase Cloud Music is a major Chinese music streaming app. It comes with a vast library, personal recommendations, social features, and more.
Huawei has now added these apps to the Live View compatibility list. And all HarmonyOS 5 and 6.0-powered devices can view these apps on the Live Window feature.
Some other features of the Live View include seamless connectivity, an alarm clock, wallet swiping, printing, a voice recorder, screen recording, a timer, music, multi-device collaboration, AI face detection, and privacy protection.
