Design

Many tipsters have dropped images of the Huawei MatePad Mini and iPad mini together, revealing the key changes between both tablets. The Chinese one has a slimmer profile than the foreign product, with thinner bezels and super clean edges.

The MatePad Mini also shows a punch-hole design for the front camera at the upper left corner of the screen. The back camera has a cute pill-shaped camera module, unlike the iPad Mini, which has a simple button-like lens on the back.

Specifications

Apple iPad mini has an 8.3-inch screen, whereas the new MatePad Mini is said to have an 8.8-inch panel with a 16:10 wider screen. It will also feature a 6400mAh battery, which is again bigger than Apple’s device: 5078mAh.

MatePad Mini could also win in terms of software capabilities, as it will adopt the stable HarmonyOS 5.1 with some amazing UI elements and AI enhancements.
