Anyone who knows me is well aware that I’ve had a Wicked obsession since childhood. As a proud theater kid, I practically grew up with the soundtrack on repeat. I even saw the musical live at the iconic Gershwin Theater a few years back—and it’s safe to say that it was life-changing. (And yes, I cried. A lot.) So when the movie dropped in 2024, you can imagine my excitement.
Now, with part 2 of the movie, Wicked: For Good, here I couldn’t resist matching up each Wicked character to a zodiac sign. After all, the zodiac says a lot about your personality—your quirks, your confidence, and maybe even your villainous side. And luckily, the land of Oz has a character for everyone. Wicked is full of big personalities, heartwarming friends, and major main-character energy—just like the zodiac signs. While every zodiac sign has a little Oz magic in them, read on to find out which Wicked character you really are, according to the stars.
Aries
Fiyero
Fiyero is an Aries through and through. He’s effortlessly cool, bold, and not afraid to take a risk for what’s right. Also, let’s admit it—he loves a little attention, which makes him a natural leader. He’s got that “dancing through life” mindset that perfectly represents this fire sign’s energetic spirit. In true Aries nature, Fiyero is fiery and ready to take on an army for what he believes in.
Taurus
The Cowardly Lion
Just like The Cowardly Lion, Tauruses are caring and definitely a little stubborn in their ways. Tauruses are known to have a love for comfort and stability, and that’s what the Lion craves the most. He’s got a heart of gold, and when it comes down to it, he has an undying loyalty to his friends.

Pfannee
Pfannee’s personality is perfectly matched with mischievous Gemini energy. He has a witty comeback ready at all times and is always down for a Shiz social event. This adaptable sign brings excitement and curiosity to the table, and knows how to flip a situation in their favor. Much like Pfannee, life’s never boring when a Gemini is around.
Cancer
Nessarose
Cancers are Nessarose to a T. Emotional, devoted, and protective of the ones they love. They might hold a grudge sometimes, but it’s only because they care too much. Nessarose has big feelings, and she cares deeply, even when it hurts. She’s fiercely loyal and sometimes lets her emotions lead over logic, especially when she becomes the Governor of Munchkinland.
Leo
Glinda
Glinda is the queen of the Leos in the best way possible. This sign is known to love the spotlight just like the glamorous, popular Glinda. When Glinda first arrives at Shiz, we see her sociable charm, stylish outfits, and rivalry with Elphaba, but as time goes on, her deep sense of loyalty is revealed. Just like a Leo, beneath the dramatic confidence, Glinda is a natural protector and generous with her heart.
Virgo
Boq
Boq is a total Virgo—loyal to a fault and always striving for perfection, even if no one notices. Virgos are known to be hardworking, detail-oriented, just like Boq (who’s lowkey the one keeping Oz running smoothly). He’s sweet, thoughtful, and constantly trying to help. This sign rarely asks for praise or assurance, but a little pat on the back would be nice sometimes…

Dorothy
While we haven’t seen much Dorothy in this iteration yet, we’re familiar with her from the classic The Wizard of Oz story. As she follows the yellow brick road with her companions, we can see how diplomatic and fair-minded she is, just like a typical Libra. She is set on finding justice for her new relationships, even though she’s just trying to get home. She wants to find harmony for all, even if it means putting her own needs on the back burner.
Scorpio
Elphaba
Scorpios are a very witchy sign. Elphaba gives off total Scorpio energy in the way of fierce loyalty and strong convictions. She undergoes a transformative period during her time at Shiz, and comes to defend the people and animals she cares about with a passion that is so Scorpio. But that’s what we love about her.
Sagittarius
Doctor Dillamond
Doctor Dillamond is the philosophical Sag of the group. He questions everything and is the voice of reason in a world full of chaos. A Sagittarius is curious, intellectual, and always asking the big questions. Even while losing his humanity, Doctor Dillamond stands up for what’s right and speaks his truth, no matter the consequences. It’s inspiring and brave, just like a Sag.
Capricorn
Madame Morrible
Madame Morrible is always three steps ahead, just like a strategic Capricorn. This sign thrives on structure and authority, and has a plan of action for just about any outcome. Power-hungry and cunning, Madam Morrible is playing one long, manipulative game to get what she wants, which just screams Capricorn.
Aquarius
ShenShen
When I think of an Aquarius, I think of an eccentric, quirky personality that marches to the beat of their own drum. That energy totally matches ShenShen—she’s unconventional, and while at times comes off as a “mean girl,” she definitely has her shining moments. She makes choices based on what she’s feeling at the moment, and always goes with the flow, just like this water sign.
Pisces
The Wizard
The idealistic Wizard and Pisces are a match made in Oz heaven. They both navigate the world with imagination and may even blur those lines between hope and reality. The Wizard’s hopes and dreams for a better Oz might seem great, but they are based on a false sense of fear. Beneath a Pisces’ charming exterior, there’s a sense of vulnerability that leads them to make (sometimes questionable) decisions.
