Android 16 will bring various exciting features on board, but looks like some of these capabilities may be exclusive to the new Pixel phones, such as the battery health page. A new input reveals which devices can get all of the Android 16 features.
Battery health page initially appeared in the Android 16 Beta 3 update. It is a simpler way to access the overall condition and capacity of your phone’s battery. The page shows the estimated battery level and how much battery degraded over time.
Earlier, it seemed that Google would offer the battery health page to all Pixel phones with the Android 16 update. But 9to5Google says that the significant feature could remain confined to the newly launched handsets and won’t reach older devices.
On May 1, while responding to a bug report in the Android Issue Tracker, Google revealed that the new feature will only support Pixel devices running the latest Android 16 beta 3 or above software versions.
“The Battery Health Indicator feature is currently supported in Beta 3 on Pixel 8a and Pixel 9 products, including 9 Pro Fold. Due to product limitations, this feature will not be available on older in-market Pixel devices.”

How to access Battery Health?
Pixel device owners can visit the Settings app. Now select the Battery section and tap on the Battery Health option. The page will hold certain features like Battery capacity, Battery health articles, and charging optimization with options: Adaptive Charging or Limit to 80%.
One will see a green checkmark symbol on the Battery Health page, revealing that everything is “Normal” in your phone’s battery.
