Kovr.ai and Second Front Systems have partnered to automate software accreditation processes for government agencies through a combined platform that integrates AI-driven compliance tools with secure deployment capabilities, the companies say. The partnership targets the authority to operate (ATO) certification process, which government agencies and contractors must complete before deploying software in federal environments.
Kovr.ai provides what it describes as an AI-native compliance automation platform for cloud and hybrid systems, while Second Front Systems operates a platform for building and deploying software in government environments. The joint solution aims to automate compliance documentation creation, system monitoring and evidence generation for frameworks like FedRAMP and CMMC, addressing what the companies characterize as traditionally manual accreditation workflows.
“ATOs don’t need to be so painful,” Andrew Black, CEO and co-founder of Kovr.ai, said in a news release. “By partnering with Second Front, we’re delivering the speed, scale and automation today’s tech leaders need to navigate cyber compliance.” The solution will be available to federal, state and local government agencies as well as technology companies beginning in June, with early access programs starting immediately for select partners.
