
Schwarzwald Capital made a strategic investment in Vesta, a transaction guarantee provider for online payments, the companies announced. The partnership includes establishing a joint venture focused on reducing fraudulent transactions in digital commerce.
Vesta processes over 100 million transactions annually across more than 40 countries, providing fraud prevention for card-not-present transactions. Schwarzwald Capital, a venture capital firm focused on fintech and the creator economy, aims to enhance security in digital payments through this investment in Vesta, which was acquired by Goldfinch Partners in 2020.
