On June 20, Huawei opened the gates of HarmonyOS 6.0 developer beta, and we have brought you the “everything” guide about the latest software version. Here are the details such as features, devices, and more, regarding the new HMOS build.
This is a developer-only activity and is not recommended for normal users. But one can explore the changes of HarmonyOS 6.0 that it may bring with the official version.
Starting with the beta program, Huawei has begun recruiting developers for the HarmonyOS 6.0 developer preview version. The event will be live till June 30. Meanwhile, the company will start pushing the testing build from June 25.
Interested developers can tap HERE to participate in the latest software testing pool. After a successful review, you will receive Huawei’s official email/SMS.

HarmonyOS 6.0: Features and Changes
The Chinese phone maker has seeded many productive capabilities into its software version. It focuses on four major aspects: connectivity, security, intelligence, and smoothness. At the same time, it has some new technologies.
1. HMAF: Harmony Agent Framework
It comes with more natural, more efficient, more powerful, and more collaborative capabilities. HMAF can easily complete complex tasks via multi-agent collaboration. It enhances the human-computer interaction and forms a comprehensive environment for users.
On the greener side, HMAF ensures a smarter upgrade of native HarmonyOS applications and meta-services. Users will get more seamless app launches and performance.

2. Upgraded Celia Intelligent Body:
Huawei has once again upgraded the Celia AI assistant and Harmony Intelligent Body. The company reveals that developers can long-press the navigation bar in the application to get recommended intelligent app solutions through HarmonyOS Intelligent Body.
Illustrating the perks of Harmony Intelligent Body, Huawei showed how the Himalaya app can customize the content you want to listen to through voice. Meanwhile, the ChatExcel can process Excel data via chat prompts.
3. Code Flying Intelligent Body:
It can generate smart body applications via a command. It will probably enable everyone to become a HarmonyOS developer.
4. Start Shield Security:
Huawei has upgraded the security architecture with HarmonyOS 6.0. It now has a new AI anti-peeping feature integrated into apps. When it senses that someone nearby is peeping into your phone’s screen, it immediately hides private content or information in the app.

5. Features:
HarmonyOS 6.0 unlocks new file-sharing features and makes payment easier for car drivers. It also brings useful parking capabilities for smart vehicles.

HarmonyOS 6.0 developer beta has also achieved one-time development and multi-device deployment. In simple words, developers won’t need multiple copies of code and repeated development of cross-device code. One code can complete multi-device deployment on phones, tablets, and PCs.
