
Huawei has started the HarmonyOS 6.0 Developer Beta Program. The tech giant has opened a new software testing channel for developers. Adding to this, here is how you can sign up for this activity and explore new software features in advance.
According to the official details, HarmonyOS 6.0 developer beta program will run live from June 20 (today) to June 30. Meanwhile, the company will start reviewing the submitted applications from June 25 and will continue till July 15.
This beta recruitment is open only to developers. One has to complete identity verification in the Huawei Developer Alliance before enrolling in the beta activity.
Once the identity verification is completed, tap on the link given below or visit the official Huawei developer website to fill HarmonyOS 6 Developer Preview Beta application. Make sure to back up your device via PC or cloud backup beforehand.
How to sign up?
Developers can log in to their real-name developer account and complete the test confirmation for the new HarmonyOS 6 Developer Preview Beta Program. Tap HERE
Tapping on the link will lead you to the beta activity page where you can fill in your application information to participate in the HarmonyOS 6 developer beta pool.
Note that the company will release developer beta versions gradually from June 25 and will complete the rollout by early July. During this period, the review results will be notified via Huawei’s official email or SMS.
Important Notes
- Developers will need a Chinese smartphone (eligible) to sign up for the beta process.
- Except for some system apps, all other apps will be cleared. Hence, backup is important.
- Once registered, you need to wait for the approval of the beta test application.
- Those who jump for the first registration will get to test the software first.
