Huawei-Dongfeng first SUV to equip ADS 4.0 appeared in spy shots
Huawei is preparing to launch ADS 4.0 smart driving solution, and it seems one of the Dongfeng SUV could be the first to use it. A new off-road vehicle has appeared in spy shots, revealing some key parameters, hidden design, and imminent launch.
A bunch of spy images recently took over the Chinese online social media platform. These shots belong to the Dongfeng Mengshi M18-3 SUV, which could be the first to equip Huawei ADS 4.0 driving solution.
Dongfeng announced that it will launch its new off-road vehicle (M18-3 codename) on April 22. The company also dropped some snoopy images of the new car. From the appearance, it looks like the SUV will adopt powerful driving capabilities.

Speaking of the design, the car holds an ordinary box-like structure, hyping its off-road aesthetics. It has a large air intake grille on the front and outdated door handles on the side.
The back side includes a hidden exhaust layout with probably an external storage. Looking at the pictures, the car is quite similar to the Mengshi 917 SUV.
The camouflage of the car shows the debut date and highlights Huawei x Dongfeng. Other words on the cover are – Excessive JUN content, Smart and wild first car, Excessive Chinese content, full-area access, and more.

Huawei and Mengshi signed a strategic cooperation agreement last year in February to develop a dynamic automotive industry ecosystem. The team-up was announced with a giant poster saying – Intelligent Off-Road, see you at the top!
Huawei has shifted its focus to off-road vehicles in recent times. It is even in the news for developing the world’s first off-road vehicle driving solution with BYD. What news wonders it will show in this section would be worth looking at.
