Google Android and Apple iOS are the well-known players in the OS field. Both are even considered as the dominator in the operating system market worldwide.
Although the tables turned when Huawei introduced HarmonyOS years ago, and recently unveiled an advanced software version – HarmonyOS NEXT. In the latest edition, Huawei’s Chairman explained 3 advantages of its self-made software system.
Richard explained how Huawei HarmonyOS outperforms Android and iOS with the three core operating system advantages: security, full-scenario, and intelligence.
Security: Richard explained how app permissions can become a major risk factor behind fraudulent calls and messages. Granting permission can let the app access your gallery anytime, without the user’s appropriate consent.
However, HarmonyOS comes with Star Shield Security architecture that enables the app to access only a single picture instead of the entire media album. The efficient software and hardware combination ensures that it allows the app to access the media once, and reset the settings once the operation is done.
