FixedFocus highlighted that the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra display upgrades are worth your attention. Even though the tipster didn’t reveal the screen specs, he mentioned that the new device will defeat the Mate 70 RS in display technology.
The first key factor of the Pura 80 Ultra could be the dual-layer OLED. A few early leaks suggested that the company may adopt a tandem OLED solution for the next-gen Pura models to deliver an enhanced viewing experience to users.
Dual-layer OLEDs pack two different layers of light-emitting pixels that help them achieve higher brightness while reducing the stress on each layer. It not only makes the screen structure durable but also allows more efficient power usage.
Simply put, users experience increased brightness, longer lifespan of the device’s display, and potentially lower power consumption over traditional single-layer OLEDs.

Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design is the first smartphone in the firm to feature a double-layer OLED screen. It has an intelligent zone refresh and ultra-low power consumption that offers a wonderful overview at every glance.
The device has a 6.9-inch screen with a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 3500 nits peak brightness. It features FHD+ (2832 x 1316 pixels) resolution and 1.07 billion colors.
