Lawctopus Law School is hiring Part-Time Faculty Member for CLAT UG Preparation.

This is a fully remote position!

About the Role

Lawctopus Law School is expanding its CLAT UG prep course team! We’re looking for passionate and reliable part-time faculty members who can teach live classes once a week and assist with high-quality content creation.

This is your opportunity to shape young legal minds, work with a friendly, academic team, and be part of a growing platform that has already trained over 60,000 learners.

Key Responsibilities

As a part-time faculty member, you will:

  • Conduct 1-2 live class per week (90–120 minutes)
  • Assist in the creation of MCQs, practice tests, and study notes
  • Review and improve existing content
  • Help resolve student doubts through discussion forums or live sessions.

Live sessions will be held on weekday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Who Should Apply?

This role is ideal for you if:

  • You have cracked or mentored students for CLAT UG
  • You have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Legal Reasoning
    • Logical Reasoning
    • Current Affairs
    • English Language
    • Quantitative Techniques
  • You enjoy teaching and can simplify complex ideas with real-life examples
  • You are comfortable with Google Docs, Slides, and online teaching platforms (like Zoom)
  • You can commit at least 5–6 hours per week, including prep time and content work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current law student or graduate from a reputed institution, or ranker in CLAT UG
  • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or content creation (online/offline)
  • Strong communication skills and a growth mindset

You Should Not Apply If:

  • You rely on AI-generated content or shortcuts instead of authentic, student-focused teaching
  • You do not have sufficient conceptual clarity in your subject
  • You are not open to feedback, collaboration, or improving your content
  • You are looking for a short-term gig with minimal involvement
  • You are applying just to “try it out” without a real interest in teaching or mentoring

Test Task (Compulsory for Shortlisting)

Your application will be considered only after completing the following two tasks. Please submit both tasks in a single Google Doc, shared with edit access to [email protected].

Note: Submissions must be original. No AI-generated content is allowed. We are looking for clarity, structure, and conceptual depth.

Task 1: Concept Note (2 pages)

Write an explainer on a core CLAT UG topic (assigned below) in a 2-page format, using:

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Size: 12 pt
  • Spacing: Single
  • File format: Submit via a Google Doc link with edit access

The write-up should:

  • Explain the concept from scratch
  • Include real-life or exam-relevant examples
  • Be student-friendly, structured, and easy to read

  • Follow the CLAT UG exam pattern
  • Include 4 options for each question
  • Add a correct answer and a detailed explanation below each question
  • The MCQs must test application, not just facts

Submission Instructions

  • Combine both tasks (Concept Note + MCQs) into one Google Doc
  • Name the doc: YourName_CLATUGFaculty_Task
  • Share the Google Doc with edit access to:
