The Boulet Brothers are returning once again to teach us all just how sexy horror can be. For those of you who don’t know, The Boulet Brothers have created waves in the drag world with their series Dragula. This series goes against the grain by highlighting the more macabre side of drag.
Not only have The Boulet Brothers changed the way many people view drag culture, but they have also gained national recognition for their skills with last year’s Emmy nomination. With the success of Season 666, many horror fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on what to expect this spooky season.
Luckily, the unholy duo has finally answered these prayers by releasing a press release on what to expect in the near future. The queens of darkness have struck a multi-project deal with Shudder that includes The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula season 7, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans season 2, as well as The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors.
Now, fans were already brimming with joy at the prospect of a seventh season and a follow-up to Titans, but no one expected Shudder to drop an entirely new show as well. Not much is known about The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors, but it has been stated that David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) will be joining the program as a co-host.
Titans will enter production this week, but we don’t currently have a timeline for The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula season 7 or The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors. The showrunners did offer the following statement as a little treat for fans.
“We’re positively enthralled to extend our unholy alliance with Shudder and AMC+ through this multi-season pact. It ensures the underworld stays wide open for many years to come — welcoming fresh souls, darker tales, and even more monstrous mayhem. We’re especially excited to be writing and directing the ‘Holiday of Horrors’ anthology special alongside some of our dearest friends and fresh new blood of the horror genre. Together, we’re summoning something truly diabolical — and this is only the beginning of the nightmares to come.”
